CALL TO ACTION STOP KILLING HEALTHY ANIMALS

Friends, I need your help with something very important. I am trying to bring attention to the unnecessary killing that is taking place at my local animal shelter, The Animal Foundation, here in Las Vegas. This is the very shelter my pawrents rescued me from three years ago. Sadly, they have a very high kill rate, just 47% of the dogs and cats made it out alive last year. This shelter is notorious for killing thousands of healthy, happy and easily treatable companion animals even as kennels sit vacant. These six pups are among many others who lost their lives last week. They were not too sick or too dangerous to save, they just had minor imperfections (see below.) Instead of making them available for adoption or treating them, they were treated like damaged goods and killed as over 200 kennels remained unoccupied. It is not a question of not having enough money either, they profited almost $1.4 million last year. This is not acceptable.
Will you please help me in spreading the word? I need ALL of you to bring this to the attention of the media here in Las Vegas. My homeless animal friends don't have a voice, but you do. Please help them by writing my local news stations and ask them to expose what is happening at the shelter. Whether you are in Las Vegas, Florida, Texas, Australia or the United Kingdom you can help. Please share. Thank you and big licks! Arbor the Painting Rescue Dog
