Kai Tomlinson gets 22 weeks for brutally murdering his girlfriends little King Charles Spaniel !

Kai Tomlinson who killed his girlfriend's dog, arriving at Birkenhead Magistrates Court,Wirral.

A teenager was locked up after kicking his girlfriend’s dog to death following a row.

Kai Tomlinson, 18, of Apsley Avenue, Wallasey , was sentenced to 22 weeks behind bars today at Wirral magistrates’ court after pleading guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
The court heard that the lifeless body of Holly, a 14-month old female King Charles spaniel, had initially been placed in a black bin liner and buried in a back yard.
But when the dog’s owner became suspicious she alerted the RSPCA.
When he was first interviewed, Tomlinson denied any responsibility and said he had found the dog with blood pouring out of its mouth.
But after pathology reports showed the dog had suffered a sustained and brutal kicking, causing severe internal and head injuries, Tomlinson admitted he had attacked the dog after he had a row with his girlfriend, 16-year-old Jade Connor.
He killed the dog after she had gone back to school.
Chris Murphy, prosecuting on behalf of the RSPCA, said the pathology report indicated the dog had suffered ‘terror on an unimaginable scale.’
Zoe Keene, defending Tomlinson, said he had experienced a ‘momentary loss of temper’ which resulted in the dog’s death
District judge Michael Abelson said Tomlinson had carried out an ‘unprovoked, vicious and brutal attack on a defenceless animal.’
He added: “This is as bad an example of animal cruelty that I have come across.
It was a despicable act of brutality.
“One cannot imagine what would prompt any human being to act like this towards a poor, defenceless animal.”
Mr Abelson said the maximum sentence he could impose by law was six months’ imprisonment, and he also had to give credit for Tomlinson’s guilty plea.
He jailed Tomlinson for 22 weeks and banned him from keeping animals for life.

It's time these murderers got a suitable sentence for these senseless killings.

more to come.....
