Stacie Sherva was simply terminated for her crimes against animals.  She was also terminated for various other reasons (mis-handling of funds, belittling employees, sexism and racism in the work force, etc.)  You can read her termination packet here:
As a supervisor of animal control, one is expected to uphold a set of values and moral as well as legal obligations of which she failed to comply with.  Terminating someone who has commited 27 counts of animal abuse is clearly not enough of a punishment as any citizen under the law would have been arrested and charged with numerous felonies for something like this.
Stacie Sherva admittedly stated that records were available to anyone and that they could be compromised at any time.  Furthermore, the people of whom she targeted and filed charges against should have their names CLEARED, myself included.  Better actions should be taken when a citizen comes forth to blow the whistle on a corrupt officer.
Killeen Police Department needs to make this right for everyone and give true justice to the animals of whom lost their lives and were hurt or even stolen through means of an illegal sale to rescue organizations WITHOUT a judge due to her actions.
The Killeen Police Department has an obligation to hold ALL citizens accountable for criminal acts.  27 counts of cruelty is in fact a HORRIBLE criminal act.
Demand Justice NOW!
