Justice for the 24 Cats found Crammed in Crates and Left to Die...

Gruesome find.....

Some public works employees in Rockingham COUNTY, N.C. were working near a railroad bridge on May 4, 2016 when they discovered four crates filled with dead cats. (FOX NEWS reported)

These cats weren't only dead, but their maggot infested corpses were discovered at various stages of decomposition. The gruesome sight prompted the workers to discover more pet carriers crammed with dead cats which had died from dehydration, starvation, and extreme weather exposure.  In total 25 dead cats were discovered.

It is believed that these cats were intentionally thrown from a moving vehicle from the nearby road in a spot where others wouldn't notice.  Sadly they were thrown out of plane sight to suffer along with their decaying cage-mates for nearly a month!

No microchips or tattoos were found on the cats, so investigators have not pursued the case further.  Police have mentioned that they would like to find who did this, but we must urge them to put all resources on this case and catch this evil person!

The length of time that these poor cats must have suffered is unimaginable until they died.  We can't let this horrible act go un-noticed and that's why were petitioning Chief William Citty of the Oklahoma City Police Department to dedicate every resource necessary to find and charge the offenders involved in this horrible crime!

Please sign the petition requesting that the police department continue to pursue this case until the perpetrators are found, caught and charged with the maximum penalty!

Anyone with information is asked to call Rockingham County Crime Stoppers at (336) 349-9683.
